Resident Evil 5’s  producer Jun Takeuchi – speaking at the recent Microsoft Media Briefing, confirmed that the controls would be similar to the Gears of War cover system. This is welcome news for those complaining of the lack of innovation perceived in Resident Evil 4’s dated controls. Duck and cover will replace the lame stop and fire sytem of old. Yay! As I really despised the old stop and shoot action. Expect to see the new RE5 system unveiled during the Tokyo Game Show in October.
